Description

The enveloping shape of the Pattie seat for indoor use inspires a variant for open-air environments, featuring a stainless steel frame covered in cord. Including an armchair, a lounge and a dining little armchairs, a two-seater sofa and a footstool, the Pattie Cord Outdoor family naturally caters for different residential and Hospitality styles and requirements. The four slender legs give it a light and ethereal appearance, accentuating the graphic effect of the woven cord that designs the shell, while the soft seat and backrest cushions make its ergonomics even more comfortable. Pattie Cord Outdoor perfectly reflects Minotti’s philosophy, according to which indoor designs are reimagined for the outdoor world, retaining similar aesthetics and the same high level of comfort.

Structure: Stainless-steel frame with polished Bronze colour exterior-grade polyester powder-coat finish. The stainless-steel structure is covered in woven Taslan (air-jet weaving and texturizing process) 8 mm Ø polypropylene cord. The cord is available in Sand, Dark Brown, Khaki Green or Rust colour.

Cushions: Seat and backrest cushions in high-resilience polyurethane foam and viscose fibre. In order to better protect the padding from water and humidity, all the cushions are encased in water-repellent polyester cover. All the accessories - zippers, thread - are water-repellent and therefore suitable for outdoor use. The perimeter of the seat and backrest cushions is finished with piping in the same material as the upholstery. The seat and backrest cushions are joined by a zipper and attached to the structure with teak frogs.

Covers: The cushion cover is completely removable.

Legs: In stainless steel with polished Bronze colour exterior-grade polyester powder-coat finish. They rest on stainless-steel tips, varnished polished Bronze colour. Adjustable black protective polyethylene glides.

Designer

Giampiero Tagliaferri

The collaboration between Minotti and Giampiero Tagliaferri, architectural and interior designer with studios in Los Angeles and Milan, kicks off in 2024.  The designer’s aesthetic approach is inspired by his bond with the two cities, reflecting the intersection of 20th century Italian design and Southern California modernism.

In this way, the delicate Milanese balance of ornament and essence, splendour and discretion blends harmoniously with Californian simplicity, understated elegance and the sensual interplay of light, colour and landscape, resulting in a distinctive and evocative design language in harmony with the brand’s style and taste.
