Description

Created in 2006 as the first furnishing piece of Minotti’s outdoor collection, Alison Iroko evolves with an additional finish that makes it even more natural and easy to blend into green and open-air spaces. Alison Iroko Nature, a modular seating system with rigorous and formal lines, is characterised by an Iroko wood frame with a natural finish. The formal rigour and rational, square aesthetics of its structure are balanced by the extreme comfort and softness of the upholstered parts. The natural Iroko finish acquires a warm colour over time, maintaining a soft, muted nuance. When combined with the other elements in the collection, the value of this seating system as a timeless piece is clear, and, thanks to its very strong identity, becomes an icon of outdoor furniture, lending itself to various possibilities in terms of how it is configured, mixed and matched.

Structure: The structure is made of 120×35 mm solid iroko, natural finish and kiln-dried, CNC-machined with 45° mitred joints and hand-finished. Treated with a UV-protective, weather-resistant varnish, the iroko is paired with a varnished outdoor metal frame and UV-resistant elastic straps in synthetic rubber and polypropylene. Natural variations in colour and veining are inherent to solid wood and may evolve over time and vary according to exposure and geographic location.

Cushions: Backrest cushions feature breathable quilted fibre with soft padding made from certified 100% recycled PET, while seat cushions combine high-resilience polyurethane foam with hypoallergenic synthetic fibre. All cushions are protected by waterproof polyester linings, with water-repellent zippers and thread ensuring durability and suitability for outdoor use.

Covers։ Fully removable cushion covers. Polished stainless steel feet slotted into the solid wood. Rubber protection.

Coffe table Top: 20 mm Corian® EC Elegant Grey, flush-set.
